Regular events include the Little Hoots playgroup, coffee club, stitch and wine craft group, our monthly book club, photography group, and our coffee and dessert club held every second Friday. The group also facilitates health and wellbeing activities such as boot camp and Zumba and there are self-defence and first aid courses in the pipeline. We are hoping to offer some nutrition and healthy eating workshops as well! We have a huge range of craft and sewing supplies at our community centre and a great range of books and magazines to lend. We also have a range of cake tins for hire as well. Our playgroup provides opportunities for children, parents and carers to share ideas, experiences, make new friends and, above all else, have fun! Activities and equipment include indoor and outdoor toys, cubby house, sandpit, nappy change facilities, microwave, DVD and book library. We have morning tea for the adults, off-site excursions, adult dining out nights and seasonal event celebrations. Our association welcomes new and current unit members and their families to the Adelaide Hills area. We hold morning tea and playgroup each Monday and Wednesday and have a different craft activity for the children each week. Our centre is well equipped with an undercover playground area, a range of outdoor and sports equipment and BBQ facilities. We offer fun activities throughout the week including a Monday playgroup that is run by a qualified educator, a Tuesday craft group, Wednesday pilates sessions and the Mums, Bubs and Bumps group on Thursdays. The group’s primary focus is to provide a safe, welcoming place for people to relax, form friendships and have fun. We offer playgroup, craft, scrap booking, training courses and pot luck dinners. We also have a crèche run by professional nannies for those who want to take advantage of their ‘me time’.
